Our volunteers are certified in basic life support skills. They are competent in effective CPR including the use of an AED.
After receiving a 999/112 call, Community First Responders are dispatched alongside the National Ambulance Service. This is so that people already in the area can respond with emergency mesures within minutes.
First responders are dispatched for Chest pain, Breathing Difficulty, Choking, Strokes and Cardiac related calls within Clondalkin.
The job is to provide reassurance to both the patient and their family until the ambulance crew arrives

Our volunteers either live or work in Clondalkin so they can quickly respond to calls in the area. Our volunteers are Garda Vetted and insured.
